GRANDMA'S BREAD
Scald 1 cup milk and pour over:

Add yeast mixture to first mixture. Add 1 tsp. vanilla, pinch of
lemon or orange zest.
Put on floured board, knead dough just enough to get smooth. Put in
2 greased and floured bread pans. Let Rise until double. Bake at 325°
for 35 to 45 minutes or until brown.
Since my little back fiasco, I use a Kitchenaid mixer with dough hook.
When dough balls on hook the 2nd time that's enough flour. Then knead in
mixer for 5 more minutes.
